They didnt care for human life
    To spare the bullock's back"
A man named Peter Niland of Drumfinn wrote many poems, one finding fault with James Green. It was as follows,
"Jamesy Green he has no wit
To make a song he is not fit
And walking round he must keep silent
There is no poet here but Peter Niland
The answer is; he's like a wild hyaenna,
You'd swear that he was mad
He's one of the dilisk sellers
    Down from Ballinafad."
