stripped the surface of the land, where the treasure lay buried, the animal sprang up. He grinned and growled viciously, and in dread, Pat Culkin flung the cat at him. The animal took the cat and tore him asunder and scattered his body around the field. When the man saw this he ran home as quickly as his two legs would carry him. So the gold is there still for some other man braver than Pat Culkin to find.
