  1. Long ago the people did not believe in doctors or nurces at all. When anybody in a house got sick the people of the house had their own cures to cure the person from the disease
    for instance : -
    Disease
    Whooping-cough (1)
    Cures.
    For whooping-cough ass's milk was given to drink to drink to the person suffering from the disease.
    (2) The child suffering from whooping-cough was made to creep in and out under an ass that was never mounted.
