    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The Mail Road is one of the chief roads in the country and also the oldest.
    It is repaired, as all other roads also are, by the County council.
    It is now steam rolled which is a great boon to the public.
    Tarbert is on the main road and before the railways were made was a great business centre as all goods for shopkeepers in neighbouring towns and villages were shipped to the Island.
    The horse traffic in these days was immense.
    The Bog Road was made 93 years ago.
    It is a great benefit to the people who live in its vicinity as before it was made, they had only soft passages to travel on.
    The Shanaway Road is now twenty six years made.
