    In the townland of Curraghlawn, Kilpipe parish a widow woman named Mull, who had one field of land. The landlord evicted her, and gave her land to a rich farmer nearby. When she was leaving her house she said "What ever horse works on my field will die". next day the farmer sent a man and horse to plough it. At dinner time the horse got ill and died that night. This also over 100 years ago but the place is still known as Mull's Field.
