bad weather is coming. If you see stars shooting in the sky it is a sign of rainy weather
People say that when there is going to be snow there are snow packs in the sky on a clear day.
The badgers in Co. Wicklow come down to the haggards, when it is going to snow, and the farmers know this and gather down their sheep. When the wild geese are seen going from Bog of Byerce to the Bog of Allen, there is going to be bad weather. It is said when seagulls fly over land there will be a storm. When midges bite on a warm summer evening there will be rain.
When there is a mist on Connahill there will be rain.
