  1. There is a field in our district which is called Atha-na- Gruaic" It seems that there were ricks of something in this field.
There is a field on our farm which is called "The Pensioner". A pensioner lived in this field, and since he died the field has this name.
A meadow, which is called "Pat's Meadow", because it was bought from Pat McGovern, is on our farm also.
The "Field of the Big Church" belongs to us also. It got its name from a big church which was on it in olden times. Some of the stones are in the ground yet, and there is a bush growing over them. It is beside our house. People used to go to Mass in it.
There is a field which is called "Sam Úr" on our farm. There is a well called by the same name in the field. People say "Sam Úr" means "fresh well". The well never goes dry in the summer.
There are no more fields on our farm which have names.
