42 Once upon a time there was a servant boy working in a farmer's house and it was haunted. The boy came in late one night and the people of the house were gone to bed. They left the lamp lighting thinking he would be in early. As if they quenched it, it would be lighted again. When he came in he warmed himself at the fire. After a while he went to bed. But before going to his bed he quenched the lamp. When he went into bed he saw a light and called the woman of the house. She got up and found the lamp lighting and she asked did he quench it and he said he did. So she went to bed and saw no more light.
