   pleading he pardoned her and the four of them knelt down by the grave and said a prayer for the repose of the soul of the poor man. They left the grave yard together and the old "White Boy" said to the young man, "let us run as quickly as we can to enane stream, for they will follow us".
   They were just across the stream when two lazy Hares' came to the brink but they could not cross over it. The two men raised their guns, which the found, to their dismay, had got jammed. The two "Hares" were the mother and daughter who had been in the grave yard.
