    St. Martin (St. Martin's Day 11th September. On that night a hen is killed in his honour as the mill refused to grind.
    St. Martin sat a field with wheat. Owing to a lack of rain he was forced to sprinkle the wheat with a watering-can. A woman came to the door of the house. St. Martin's mother had wheat on the floor. The woman asked leave to boil
