  1. There was once a man who heard the leipreachán at work. He wished to get a crock of gold. He watched the leipreachán many times till at last he got within reach of him. He grabbed him and asked him for his crock of gold. The leipreachán told him that there was a mad dog behind him. The man looked behind him and the leipreachán disappeared.
