  1. (continued from previous page)
Black I am, I'm much admired.
Men work at me till the're tired.
    Cut my hair,spoil my face,
Draw me from my native place,
    Tired horse, comfort man,
Riddle me that if you can? TURF.
    Riddle me Riddle me rantio,
My father gave me some seed to sow,
The seed was black and the ground was white.
Riddle me that by Saturday night? A man filling his pipe.
As I went up on a high hill,
I looked down on a low hollow,
    I saw the Worlds wonder,
I saw twenty four little devils tearing the ground asunder? A Harrow.
Who earns a living by going from bad to worse? A Doctor.
What is the lightest thing to fill a pail with? Holes.
If you name it, you break it. What is it? Silence.
What is it we all have, its no good to us, but still we can't do without it? Your Name.
