  1. Each cow has a different name such as Nell, Polly, Lill, Kit.
    When the people are driving the ass they say "gee up Neddy" or "gee up Mowly". A piece of palm is hung up in the cowhouse to bring luck. The cowhouse is whitewashed. The cow is tied by a chain & a long piece of leather to put around the cows neck. Eggs are usually set on Tuesday.
