  1. There is one tailor in Gowran named O'Shaughnessy. He keeps cloth but he does no spinning. Neither spinning or weaving is carried on in this district.
    A greater quantity of the people knit socks, jumpers, gloves & many other things.
    A tailor uses thimble scissors thread, machine. An old saying is if you find a thimble you will marry a tailor.
