  1. The priests long ago used to hear Mass in old churches. When they were saying Mass they used to be put out of the churches. The people long ago were nearly all pagans. The law in them times were not to obey God. The priests used to be saying Mass sometimes behind a bush & it was called a Mass bush. There were a bush in Ballygortin the priests & the priests used to say Mass inside it.
