If you got three knots of strwa & bury it your warts would go, & another way, if you count your warts & put the same number of stones in a bag whoever picks up the bag first would get the warts & yours would go. There is a cure for consumption; if you got a young dandelion & either boil it or eat it raw you would be cured. If a person had a whooping cough & you brought them to a strange house & they were offered an apple without asking it would be cured.
