    Gates are still being made by the blacksmiths and plough are also made by them and (fiere) fire cranes. Thatching was also carried on, and tanning is carried on in Thomastown yard. Martin Nolan of Mount Loftus was a cooper. Bill Carrigan of Clara and has a lime kiln in Butler's grave.
