He died in the year 1920 and he was buried in "Barra na Cille" churchyard.
He was employed by a farmer in County Limerick.
His usual meat was boars meat.
One day as he and the other workmen were at dinner he recited this poem-May God above look down with love upon those labouring four,
And give us meat that we can eat and take away this boar.Máirgréad Ni Fhoghladha,

Fuaireas an t-amhrán so ó-
Bean feirmheóira,
Siobhán Ní Fhoghladha 30 b.d'aois.
