- Lord Ventry was the Landlord of this district about 30 years ago.
Nobody here was evicted by him as he always gave time to pay the rent.
The tennants were evicted if they did not pay the rent because the Landlords had great control over them.
The bailiffs gathered tithes in this district long ago and they kept them.
