  1. Nowadays there are so many roads int he country that people would go astray when they are going from place to place There is a road called the "Coach Road" running from Sligo to Dublin. The Coach used to run on it long ago.
    There is a road called the "Tax Road" and the reason that the people call it that name is that is is tarred. It runs from Ballyfarnon to Sligo and it was made during the Famine.
    There is also a road called the "Bog Road" which runs from Riverstown, down through the bog, to Collooney. There is another road which runs from Riverstown to Geevagh and on to Carrick-on-Shannon Beside Heapstown there is a newly-made road which was made there three years and it runs to Ballyrush.
