The person who has the cure of the ringworm must be the seventh consecutive son or daughter, and when he or she is born, a worm is put in the child's hand, and if the worm dies, this child has the cure of the ringworm.
- Long ago the old people had many cures. When anyone had a sore eye he would bathe it in cold water or they would pluck ten thorns from a gooseberry bush and point nine of them at the sore eye and throw the other one away.(continues on next page)
