  1. A long time ago the was an old church which belonged to the Roman Catholics. But it was taken from the Catholics. The Protestants put up a placard on which these words were written: - Every kind of people are wanted here. Protestants, Presbyterians, and Atheists, etc. But no Papishes shall enter. When the next day came a Catholic man was passing by, when he saw what was written on the placard he wrote below: -
    "The man that wrote it, wrote it well.
    The same is "wrote" on the gates of hell.
    "No Papishes Shall Enter"
