    of the house asked "what do you want with him"? The wee woman said for him to change the group in the byre or else that change the byre for if he "wudn't" all his cows "wud" be dead in the morning because the water from the group was "drownding" them. And so the group was changed and nothing happened to his cows.

  2. Long ago, Paddy "Salach" of Ceathramha Bhuidhe and "Séan Dúbh" of "Ouldtown" used to "ceilidhe" in Ballybawn. "Wan" night they were asked to wait for the supper, "Séan Dúbh" wouldn't wait but Paddy Salach was always willing to ate and drink all he was offered so he waited for the supper.
    When "Séan Dúbh" was coming up past the rocks on Larahire hill the voice called out "don't touche that man that's a "dacent"man and wait till Paddy Salach comes". About twelve o'clock "Paddy Salach" walked up the hill
