- There was a man in this parish who had a little shop but as he was not making a good living, he said he would try to get visitors to stop with him during the summer months.He told this to a traveller and the traveller said he would stay there that night so as to give a start to the new hotel. This man had a habit of leaving his boots out side his bedroom door so as the attendant could get them there to polish them.When morning came the traveller found his boots untouched.
