  1. There was once an old witch in Conamara and she was very useful to the people in the parish because if anyone was sick or anything going wrong in the house someone would go for her advice and she used to give them some cure for it and in that way she was useful.
    There was once a man and his wife died. Two of daughters died soon after and after that he used to see the three women dressed in white cloths in the room. So he went to the witch about it and she told him a special corner stone should be taken and put back
