  1. It is an old doing to kill a gosse sometimes between November night and St. Martin's night in honour of St. Martin. You must put a drop of the goose's blod in each of the four corners of the house and a drop in the fire.
    It is not right to leave a spinning wheel prepared for spinning on St. Martin's night and to go to bed. Because the fairies will be spinning all the night and it never will be any use after.
