There is a blessed Well in Altór.

There is a blessed Well in Altóre The word Altóre means that there was Mass read in it long ago in the time of the persecution of the priests. The blessed Well was not there in the evening but in the morning it was there and no one knew how it came in it. The people began doing stations at it. Young people and old people are doing stations at it at the present day. Every person leaves some thing after them on top of the flag. There is no other blessed Well in this parish except the one in Kilgeever.
Their is a graveyard in o. Glancaon (Gleann Chasin) in J. Patrick Kilcoynes land. There is only unbaptised children buried
