  1. There are lucky and unlucky days for getting married. This is how the old people say them. "Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, and Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for losses. Friday for Crosses and Saturday no day at all.
    Long ago if a girl consented to marry a man, and the girls parents (to object) to it, then man and a group of others would come at night at a late hour, and take the girl with them by force. Then they would go to the priest and get married.
