    The third thing he had to do was to rob a nest in the middle of an island and bring home the eggs without breaking one of them. The lady gave him a wand and as soon as he hit the water with it there appeared to him a ladder leading over to the nest.
    So he got the eggs and brought them back to the king without breaking them.
    Then he had some other very hard things to do. In the latter end I think this man did away with the king and lived in his castle for the rest of his life.
