- It is said that there was a ghost at the foot of Mr Tweedy's [?] hill, in the townland of Duffcastle and in the parish of Crosserlough.
When people would be going the road it would annoy them and sometimes stop them.
It is said that Father Murray banished him and put him between the froth and the water in Graddum lough.
One night Father Murray sent his boy down to Crosserlough Church for his vestments because he was going to read Mass in some country house the next morning.
When he went to the foot of the hill he was stopped and he could not go on his way.
He went back and told the priest.
The priest got down of the horse put on his Stole and read for a while.
It is said that he banished the ghost.
This [?] Father Murray was a curate in Fairy Mount at this time.- Bailitheoir
