    My townland is Regaskin, and my parish is "Castleterra", and my barony is "Upper Loughtee".
    There are four families in the townland, Gormans, Mulligans, Fitzpatrick, and Mullens, There are two over 70. They both live in the same townland. Their names and addresses are Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Mr. Mulligan Regaskin, Ballyhaise.
    There are two slated ones and two thatched ones.
    Only those at school know Irish, but they all know English. In olden times there used to be seven houses. They were made of clay and they all fell except one. The people that were living in that house went to America except one who got married in Crossforts. We keep cattle in the old house. There are not many hill. They all have a farm of land. They grow oats, wheat, potatoes, turnips, mangle, and carrots, It is good land. There are no lakes or streams in it.
