- There is a place in this country out of which a young girl was getting married. After the marriage the bride and bridegroom returned home. After a short time at home the bride became weak and faint and her features changed and then too the astonishment of all present it was seen that she had turned into a leprecaun.
However in a few days the bride returned and told her brother that she had been taken by the fairies and she also told him that she would pass through a certain gap at six o'c the following evening riding on the third lost white horse if she would go there and grab her when passing she would get free. Her brother told his story to his friends and neighbours and they all came there at the appointed time and stood in the gap. The row of horses came on and the brother saw the bride on the horse she said but he could not reach her so she passed on and was never seen again.
