1. The Potato Crop (ar lean)

   The growing crop has to receive care or it will not yield well.

   First they are moulded up with the plough.

   The mixture is, - bluestone and washing soda mixed together with water and poured on the stalks with and agricultural sprayer.

   The old people used to always boil the new potatoes for the first time on the 15th July.

   The potatoes are dug with a potato digger in October or November.

   Here the neighbours help again.

   They pick the potatoes after the digger
