  1. Travelling people still call at my home. They are going about for years. They are very poor. They carry a basket with small articles in it. The people usually buy from them and often a big bargain takes place before the article is purchased. They obtain most of their supplies in Dublin while they make tin buckets etc. These travellers are welcome as they sell useful animals etc. They often buy or sell a horse or an ass. They usually camp by the roadside or an waste land.
