  1. A funny story
There was a man one time by the name of Jack Hooley and he live in a place called Ballabritt a place outside Roscrea. He used to do many tricks. One day he went into Roscrea and he wanted to get whiskey and he went into a shop and said that his mother was dead. And he asked for a coffin and whiskey and gave no money for them.
His mother was not dead at all. He drank the whiskey going home along the road and he took home the coffin and when his mother saw him coming she began to cry and asked who was the coffin for or who was dead.
And Jack said shut up mother isn't it the grandest thing in Ireland for me and you to chop potatoes in. The people who gave him the whiskey never got the money.
