    The storm took place on the 26th 27th of February 1903. It lasted from 10. p.m. to 5. a.m. in the morning It did a lot of damage, it knocked the end out of our barn and took the roof off it. It carried the horses car about half a mile away. A lot of trees were knocked across the road, and stopped the traffic for nearly a week (a) Another barn was blown away altogether, nothing was left but the foundation. There was a donkey's cart met coming down the road, and one person said the devil was in the cart. There were no lives lost around here.
