- St. Brigid's cross is made on St. Brigid's eve. It is made out of straw about two inches long and two inches wide. The old people make them. They are placed over the door. They are supposed to keep away bad luck from entering the house.
- Water is often taken from certain wells and brought to peoples houses where they use it to cure ailments.
