  2. One of the best poets of this locality was Patrick Reilly,
    Camross and some of his poems and songs are around still. The Caro' Sports is one of them :-

    The Caro' Sports

    The Caro' Sports are over
    They proved a great success
    There were parties there from everywhere
    Dressed in their very best.

    The day was simply lovely
    The sports were much the same,
    But the evening came too quickly
    And was'nt that a shame.
