    There were a lot of schools long ago but the ones I heard about were Coolarty and Killeen.
    Coolarty school was situated on the border of Clonbroney and there were two rooms in it and boys and girls were together.
    Miss Brock tought in it and she was a protestant and as well a that she was a very hard teacher and Miss Kelly tought Catechim.
    The subjects they learned were Geography, History, Reading Writing and many others.
    It is there still and two families lived in it up to about a month ago.
    Killeen school is situated on the road leading from the school crossroads to Fagans crossroads.
    Long ago there were stairs in it and there was a room under and another one on top.
    The master tought the boys under and his name was master
