When the eggs are down a week the person looks in the eggs and if the egg is clear it is a bad one and when there is a stripe or a black mark it is sure and it takes the chickens three weeks to come out.

Herbs The most harmful weeds on our farm are ragworts, nettles, thistles, preshuck, chicken-weed and others.
They are harmful to both crops and pasture. The farmers are cutting them for the past couple of years and they say that they will have none of them after a couple of years more. The ragworts and presuck grow only where land is good.
