    Food in olden times.
    The people used to eat three meals per day long ago. They used to work before the breakfast and the breakfast was served at 11 o'clock. The breakfast they used to eat was oaten porridge.
    The dinner was served at one o'clock and it consisted of potatoes and cabbage. Sometimes bacon was eaten. The people used to sit around a basket on the centre of the floor. The basket used to be left on the pot. The food that used to be eaten in the evening was oaten bread and buttermilk.
