The birds commonly known in our district are the Robin Blackbird, thrush, crow, goldfinch, cuckoo, Lark, Magpie, chaffinch, titlark, Boglark, sally picker, Tomtit, wren, Pidgon, Hawk, Kingfisher, Crane, Seafull, Swallow, Starling, Snipe, Partidge, Pheasant, Woodcock, Skylark Sparrow. Yellow hammer, Bullfinch, Golden wren, Willie wag tail, Jack Daw, Jay thrush, St Curlew, Corn brake Blind, Bats, Owl, green Swan, Linnet, grey Linnet,Ploover, May Bird, Stone Chatter, Ball boote, Diver, The Robin is a small bird with a red breast. It is not much of a songster. It builds its nest in bushes and lays five small spotted eggs. This bird does not migrate. When we see the robin hopping about from place to place and in about the house we know it is a sign of snow.
    The Blackbird is about twice the size of the Robin. It has a yellow beak. It is a good songster. It builds its nest in a bush and lays four blue eggs. This bird does not migrate. We know when we see the blackbird look for food it is a sign
