  1. There was an old gentleman named Mr. Hogan who lived in my district who was a great sportsman and who was very fond of shooting. One day as he was shooting snipe with a muzzle loaded gun. He had the gun loaded so heavy that when he let the shot that knocked him down and he fell on a hare and killed it. The ramrod flew out of the gun and went into a boghole and stuck in an eel that was on the surface of the water. When he got up he found the ramrod stuck in the eel and the hare and snipe dead where he fell.
