  1. The Landlord.
    Mr. T. C. Fagan
    Rathmore House was landlord of Rathmore from 1880 to 1914. Capt. Dawson was landlord of Noughill near Tang for two hundred years. Fred Russell landlord of Coolvin was landlord for about one hundred and fifty years. These families have being settled in the district for about one hundred and fifty years. They were all fairly good landlords except Fred Russell of Coolvin.
    The Coolvin evictions took place about 1880 under the guidance of Fred Russell. Strange to say the people were not removed as they were old and had medical certificates proving they were unfit to be removed. The Conlons and Dillons were the people to be evicted. On the King Harmond estate several evictions were carried out for non payment of rent about 1870. The evicted people were the Fagans, Reenans, and Mylynns. They were all reinstated after some time.
