Here's to the gallant men of cloneyheigue who are not afraid of prison cells

    Written by Tiney Brennan, Tyrrellspass
Obtained from Mr J J Brennan.
    Tyrrellspass (age 40)
Here's to the gallant men of Cloneyheigue
Who are not afraid of prison cells.
For they have driven cattle from the
Verdant hills and meadows of the old Lone Lough.
So Cloneyheigue is up and doing and no
more the cattle lowing around the
Verdant hills and meadows of the old Lone Lough
Their gallant leader Mathew Seery likewise
Brave Michal Brennan on his gallant gray
Have lead the boys to clear the grabbers from the verdant hills and meadows of the old Lone Lough
So Cloneyheigue is up and going and no more the cattle lowing around
the Verdant hills and meadows of the old Lone Lough
