  1. When the farmers wants to sow the potato crop he ploughs the ground very deeply. He always harrows and cultivates it. He opens drills with the plough. He puts dung in the middle of the drills. Then he puts the potatoes in the drills and covers them with clay.
    When they spring up he moulds them twice. When they are blossomed he sprays them with blue stone and washingsoda. In October he ploughs them out of the land and puts them in pits.
