  1. There are several kinds of birds in this district. The robin is liked best of all.
    The brown thrush the black bird and the starling are very much like each other. We often see linnet and the stone-chatter during the Winter.
    The wild birds are very few in this district. The wild duck the water hen and the wood pigeons are the only ones we see. The men of this district are always on the track of them.
    Those hatch in various places. The wild duck lays her eggs in the bog. The water-hen hatches at the edge of water. The wood-pigeon hatches high up in an ivy tree.
