  1. Once there was an old woman who lived in Breffni. There was a was a very cruel man living there. He wanted to build a castle that would last for all ages. To achieve this he ordered all the bullocks to be killed and mix the mortar with the blood. The bullocks blood was not sufficient to carry out this plan. So he ordered all the cattle to be killed.
