  1. In the townland of Knockmant about two miles from Killucan on the Mullingar road there is a cemetery. This is in in a field which is owned by Mr. Gorman.
It is surrounded by a stone wall.
It is circular in shape and is on a hill. There is no roadway to it through the fields.
Funerals must be brought across a wooden bridge over a river which is in flood very often.
On the other side of the road is a very hilly field owned by Captain Purdon of Lisnabin Castle.
There are small portions of walls to be seen here and pieces of rock projecting from the ground.
Old people say that this place was the original town or village of Killucan.
Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
