  1. On a field in the town land of Diamor is a field known as the church field. Here it is believed a church has stood, until the time of cromwell, whose sodium ranged it all that now remains of it is the holy water stone. The water in this stone is a certain cure for warts, after the warts are cracked a pin must be left hanging on the bush which has of later years grown up besides the stone.
